The Hohe Salve (1.829m) with the Salvenkirchlein, the highest pilgrimage church in Austria, guarantees a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of more than 70 mountain peaks over 3000m - a special exhilaration.
The popular mountain peak is accessible by foot from the mountain station Hochbrixen via the Filzalm in about 1 - 1 1/2 hours or by the comfortable gondola Hochsöll / Hohe Salve.
Once at the summit reveals a fantastic view. Directly on the mountain summit, which was built in 1641 Salvenkirchlein, a small pilgrimage church is an early Baroque high altar. The mine is located on the Pass Thurn federal highway B 161, 10 km south of Kitzbühel.
