Well-groomed cross-country ski trails

There are so many ways in which to enjoy the wonderful natural scenery of the Brixen Valley and its idyllic side valleys.

Perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths snake their way through the valley and connect seamlessly with the networks of neighbouring regions in the Kitzbühel Alps.

An approximately 4,5 km-long alpine trail in Aschau ensure cross-country skiing until into the beginning of spring.

Trail to Brixen

Distance: 9 km, mild to moderate
Entry: Stöcklfeld - Schiwiese

Description: Stöcklfeld - Schiwiese over meadowland to Bressanone and back again. Opportunity for continued operation after Westendorf.

Aschauer trail

Distance: 6 km, easy to moderate
Entry: Sports Cafe Aschau

Description: This trail offers great snow security. Start and finish are at the Sports Cafe Aschau.

The most important way stations: Sports Cafe Aschau - Zwiesel Bauer - Ebenau Oberlandhütte and in a loop back to the sports cafe.

Connection track to Kitzbühel - Reith

Description: Entry behind the tennis hall (Mehrzweckhalle) - over meadows about 3 km to the golf course. There are 2 ways to continue running:

a) Reith 1st Sonnenloipe - easy round course about 12 km with a connection to 2nd Bichlachloipe - turn in Reith at the foot of the mountain hype, about 9 km, for athletic cross country skiers - Following the trail to Oberndorf, St. John, Going 3rd Sport Trail - moderate round course about 12 km - cross the bridge on the golf course, then on to the ski lift at Reith and back again.

b) direction Kitzbühel about 4 km to Schwarzsee - there is then the possibility of entering the Schwarzseespitze trail (3 km) or in the Lake Trail (1.6 km)
