A ski tour is not only a sporting challenge
Get to know and love the Tyrolean mountains from their original side!
A ski tour offers not only a sporting challenge but also an unforgettable experience, away from the hustle and bustle, in and with nature!
Walking time: 3 – 3.5 hours
Altitude difference: 1,060 m
Description: A beautiful tour with a magnificent view of the Großvenediger and Großglockner, but one that should be undertaken immediately after more abundant fresh snow.
Starting point: At the Oberlandhütte or at the parking lots at the beginning of the toll road. Parking below the Oberlandhütte at the parking lot at the toll booth.
Tour description: Immediately after the car park at the beginning of the toll road, turn right over the bridge of the Aschauer Ache and climb relatively steeply over beautiful slopes to the Durachalm 1420 m. Now turn right in a wide arc to the Durachkogel 1773 m and over the flat ridge to the Breitlabalm 1898 m. Continue on a small descent of 30 m and over the steep east ridge to the summit.
Departure: Either like ascent, but much more rewarding over the slopes between Breitlabalm and Durachkogel back to the Durachalm.
Altitude difference: 680 m
Description: An absolute pleasure tour. Most beautiful after fresh snowfall or in firn conditions. Technically not difficult. An absolute pleasure tour. Most beautiful after fresh snowfall or in firn conditions. Technically not difficult.
Starting point: Aurach/Wildlife Park. Parking at the wildlife park
Tour description: From the wildlife park over beautiful alpine meadows to the north, later uphill to the northeast. To the left of the Brandner Alm (1551m) pass up to an altitude of 1700 m. From here in an easterly direction, it is easy to climb the summit structure to the large summit cross.
Departure: How to ascent
Altitude difference: 1,057 m
Description: Nice slopes that are not too steep, especially after fresh snow, but not too lush, as the terrain is not too steep.
Starting point: At the Gasthof Gredwirt in Aschau. Parking at the Gredwirt car park after consultation with the landlady!
Tour description: First in a southerly direction to the path that leads from Aschau, then in an easterly direction to the slope of the Pengelstein downhill variant. Now follow the slope for a while to the path from Pengelstein. From there, over copied terrain to the Kleinmoosalm and in a wide arc around the rocky outcrop. Now on the southwestern part of the summit slope to the pre-summit and over the mostly blown ridge to the summit.
Departure: Either like an ascent, but in safe conditions, much more rewarding the descent from the summit slope straight towards the rocky outcrop (which you bypass in a wide arc on the ascent), drive around it to the left and ski directly down the slope to the Kleinmoosalm. Now over undulating terrain to the Ziehweg and from there on the piste to the Gredwirt.
